3. Visiting the website (delivery and server log files)

This website is delivered via Amazon CloudFront and Amazon S3. The provider is Amazon Web Services EMEA SARL, 38 Avenue John F. Kennedy, L-1855 Luxembourg, acting as our processor under a data processing agreement (AWS GDPR Data Processing Addendum) that includes the EU standard contractual clauses.

When you access the site, the provider processes technically necessary data: IP address, date and time of access, page requested, volume of data transferred, referrer and browser and operating system identifiers. Processing serves the provision and protection of the service on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

Access logging is not enabled: we neither store nor evaluate server log files. The provider processes the data above only temporarily, in order to deliver the site and to fend off attacks.

CloudFront delivers content from a worldwide network of edge locations. Processing may therefore take place outside the European Union, namely at the location closest to your request. This is safeguarded by the EU standard contractual clauses pursuant to Art. 46 (2) (c) GDPR.

The connection is encrypted with TLS throughout; requests via http are redirected to https.

4. Cookies

This website sets a single strictly necessary cookie that stores your acknowledgement of the cookie notice. In addition, information is kept in your browser’s storage: localStorage holds your light/dark display preference, sessionStorage a note that the fonts have loaded. Your language choice is not stored – it follows from the address you visit.

The legal basis is § 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG. There is no tracking and no analysis of your usage behaviour; no advertising or audience measurement services are embedded.

5. Enquiries and the partner form

The “Become an innovation partner” form transmits no data to this website. Your entries stay in your browser; the button turns them into a prepared email that opens in your own mail client. Whether you send that message, and with what content, is entirely your decision. Nothing is stored on our servers and nothing is passed to third parties.

Only once you send the email does the data it contains reach us (role, organisation, name of the contact person, email address, message). We then process it in order to handle your enquiry and get in touch; the legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) or (f) GDPR. The data is deleted once the matter has been concluded and no statutory retention obligations apply.

The checkbox concerning naming with your name and logo is optional and separate from the enquiry itself. It is only carried over as a line of text into the email you compose.

Your organisation or logo will be named on this website solely on the basis of your explicit consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. You may withdraw this consent at any time; we will then remove the mention without delay.

6. External content and fonts

This website loads no content from third-party servers. Typefaces (Urbanist, Poppins) and icon fonts are served exclusively from this website itself; no font services, maps, video platforms or social media plugins are embedded. Your IP address is therefore not transmitted to any further third party when you open these pages – for the delivery of the website itself, see section 3.

No analytics or tag management services are embedded either.

Should the virtual show room be provided via an external service in future, we will state the provider, purpose and legal basis here before it is embedded.

7. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR). You may withdraw consent you have given at any time.

8. Right to lodge a complaint

You may lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority at any time. The authority responsible for the controller is the Bavarian Data Protection Authority (BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany, phone +49 981 180093 - 0.
